FULL PLANNING APPLICATION
All planning applications require existing and proposed schemes. Your existing drawing will be compiled from a measured building survey, this will allow for existing floor plans, elevations and sections where required.
Accompanying your drawings will be a ordnance survey map, which provides a location and block plan. These documents are uploaded to an online portal along with online forms to submit your application for processing.
Planning applications are subject to a statutory 8-week processing time.
PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT
Minor works such as small kitchen extensions and french door installations can be carried out under permitted development.
To ensure that this is applicable to the project and property, we can apply for a certificate of lawfulness to ensure that all works to be carried out are completed in line with planning permissions.
Certificate of lawfulness applications are subject to a statutory 8-week processing time.
BUILDING CONTROL
The majority of home improvements are subject to Building Control Regulations.
Building Regulation visits demonstrate that structural, fire, health and safety elements are met and are compliant with The Building Act 1984.
Building Regulation applications are less time restrictive and can be submitted closer to your start date.
